PUG STUD INFO. puppies available FOR NANCY.IN REMEMBERENCE OF NANCY and NANCHYL PUGS. this page is dedicated to my dear friend nancy tarbbitt who passed away 22 august 2010. I hadnt rang nancy for some weeks, i kept meaning to as i had lots to tell her and even more to ask her as she was my confident over my little pug dogs. i knew she hadnt been well and was devastated when i was told by a friend of her passing away in hospital without having cought up with her recently.. this page is my way of saying goodby to my dear friend.nancy was an ambassador of the breed and known all over the world. she made up 21 champions in her career.her last one was my homebred girl pearlysioux mini haha of nanchyl a daughter of champion nanchyl vanoc. nancy took her from me and made her up into a champion before 16 months old. I gave mini haha her pet name kitten and nancy kept to that.. i wish i had rang nancy when i had forgotten as the days went by, me busy doing other things. i hope so much she knew how much respect i had for her, i think she did. had it not been for nancy i wouldnt have the fantastic pugs i have today, she taught me so much, she gave so much of her time to me. she was full of help and knowledge after more than 45years in the breed. her champion bitch rosalia of nanchyl took the record for winning the most cc's 37!! away from her g.grandmother roxanna who herself won 32cc's. she also won the toy group at crufts 1992. how i admired her. she had judged pugs in many countries and told me that one place she had never but would love to judge pugs was in russia, sadly she never got to do that. nancy has given so much to the breed that she is a true embassador in pugs and will live on in the hearts of many of her good friends in the pug world including myself.she could be so funny, we spent many times i my home drinking tea while watching the puppies play, choosing out our favourites, she taught me what to look for in a puppy and what to let go. knowledge i will always use as i have learned through nancy to pick out my own show potential puppies with confidence which has been repayed by their own wins. i have pictures of her taken in my kitchen with kitten and others i took at a show i managed to get too.. i have problems going to shows and cant show myself for personal reasons, nancy understood this and one morning came to my home and collected my puppy dog pearlysioux tatanka pet name barney, barney got third place that day at his first show with absolutely no show training,he had never been to a puppy training class either. i was more proud of the fact nancy had taken my puppy to a show for me and taken him into the ring than i was at the result! nancy wouldnt show anyone else's dogs as a rule and that day i realised how much nancy thought about me..the same dog is in italy now and will has recently been placed at the world show.. i admired her so much, she was so out spoken always called a spade a spade. she loved pugs so much many times i had watched her as we drank tea with a beaming smile as she watchd the pugs, she was drawn to the naughty ones! she said she had a special bond with kitten and even though she was a champion she would never breed her as she could not risk anything going wrong, she said she loved kitten in a special way.. i remember the day she came and picked me up after she had gone on and on for me to go visit another friend of mine who had my bloodline, nancy had wanted to see how they had matured. i got in the car with her and she drove like sterling moss!!! slow down nancy i kept screaming as my knuckles turned white along with my face, ""shut your eyes she laughed! she kept saying you will never get to the shows with me at this rate hahaha. i wish i could have gone, how i wish for that. i have a travel phobia which leads to panic attacks,i think nancy wanted me to face my fears that day and overcome it. it didnt work!!! when we got home after a nice afternoon at my friends home i got out the car and said,"well nancy il not be doing that again in a hurry haha"" to which she laughed... there was so much more to nancy, she used to tell me of her early days when she used to hunt, she was a keen horsewoman,i always looked on nancy as a lady so well spoken and she always dressed so well like myself she loved her shoes! she loved the garden too,she would always admire my plants especially my wisteria. she loved music having been a music teacher. geting to know nancy was a pleasure to me.how lonely it feels knowing nancy isnt there for me to just pick up the phone, how we can take things for granted somtimes. I miss you nancy... To see all content, you will need the current version of Adobe Flash Player to view it. |
